STEVE VARSANO

Steve Varsano, an entrepreneur and the founder of The Jet Business, has significantly impacted the aviation industry through his passion and innovative approach. The Jet Business, located in London, is the world's first street-level showroom for corporate jets, revolutionizing the buying and selling process.

Born in New York City, Varsano’s fascination with aviation began at 14 after a flying lesson in a Cessna. Determined to pursue this passion, he worked in restaurants to fund his flying lessons, soloing at 16 and earning his pilot's license at 17. He attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Studies and his flying licenses. His internships included roles as an airport manager at St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport and with the American Association of Airport Executives in Washington, D.C.

After graduating, Varsano worked at the General Aviation Manufacturers Association, educating government officials on the industry’s objectives. A chance encounter with a jet salesperson led him to start his career in corporate jet sales. His career was next altered when he sold multiple jets to a Wall Street tycoon, leading to a position as Senior Vice President at the multi billion dollar merchant bank Triangle Industries, where he oversaw real estate, corporate services, and the flight department.

Varsano also consulted for private equity firms and served as President of the international division of a international restaurant chain. In 2011, he returned to aviation, founding The Jet Business. This showroom offers clients the opportunity to explore full-scale jet interior simulations and use advanced technology for aircraft comparisons, setting a new industry standard and making the process more accessible for high-net-worth individuals and corporate executives.

Embracing the social media craze, Varsano has recently promoted his business and educated the public about the previously mysterious world of private aviation, achieving an astounding billion views. His efforts have demystified the industry, attracting a broader audience and potential clients as well as attracting hundreds of millions of young kids to start an interest in aviation.

Varsano has served on the Board of Directors of XOJET and Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic and is on the Board of Trustees of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. His philanthropic efforts focus on aviation and education, providing opportunities for underprivileged youth to pursue careers in aviation.
