BIN CHEN

Bin Chen was born into a family of the first private economic entrepreneurs after China’s reform and opening policy. He devoted his life to the family’s philosophy of developing a successful business in the automotive industry, the Wanfeng Auto Holding Group. Mr. Chen holds a Master of Science in Management (MSc) from University of Hull in the United Kingdom and is amongst the new class of young successful entrepreneurs in China. He is the Chairman/CEO of Wanfeng Auto Holdings Group and Chairman of Meridian Lightweight Technologies, Inc., and numerous other companies throughout the globe.

From the very beginning he dreamed about the life above clouds and became one of the first Chinese private pilot license holders in 2000.

This was the foundation of his vision to develop a General Aviation industry in China with the goal to bring flying and the world of aviation closer to Chinese families and enhancing their means of traveling. To transform the world just like his role model Henry Ford.

With the acquisition of the Diamond Aircraft Group in December 2017, Mr. Chen entered the world of a globally renowned aircraft brand and came a huge step closer to his dream to work on a long-term leadership position in worldwide general aviation. He has also been awarded the prestigious Chinese Management Masters while also serving as Vice President of China Transportation Association along with First President of General Aviation Industry Association of Zhejiang Province.
